How to Write a Celebrity Interview Dialogue in English

Interviewer: Good evening, everyone. Today, we have a very special guest with us. He is an award-winning actor, director, and producer. Please welcome Mr. Tom Hanks.

Tom Hanks: Thank you for having me. It’s great to be here.

Interviewer: So, Mr. Hanks, let’s start with your latest project, “News of the World.” What drew you to this particular story?

Tom Hanks: Well, the script was just incredible. It’s a beautiful, classic Western story with a heart, and I was immediately drawn to the character I play, Captain Kidd. He’s a man who’s been through a lot of tragedy and trauma, but he still has a sense of duty and honor, and he’s trying to do the right thing in the world.

Interviewer: You’re known for your portrayal of real-life characters in films like “Forrest Gump” and “Captain Phillips.” How do you approach playing these roles?

Tom Hanks: I think it’s important to really dive into the research and the history of the person I’m portraying. I want to understand who they were and what they were going through at that time. Then, it’s about finding the emotional core of the character and bringing that to the screen. It’s a challenge, but it’s also incredibly rewarding.

Interviewer: You’ve had an amazing career so far, with so many iconic roles. Do you have a personal favorite?

Tom Hanks: (laughs) That’s like asking me to pick my favorite child. But if I had to choose, I think “Saving Private Ryan” is a film that’s very close to my heart. It was such a great ensemble of actors and filmmakers, and we all felt a real sense of camaraderie and purpose making that movie.

Interviewer: Finally, do you have any advice for aspiring actors and filmmakers?

Tom Hanks: My advice would be to just keep going. This is a tough business, and there will be rejection and disappointment along the way. But if you have a real passion for the craft, and you’re willing to put in the work, you can make it happen. And remember, it’s not just about you. We all have a responsibility to tell stories that matter and make a positive impact in the world.

Interviewer: Thank you so much for your time, Mr. Hanks. It’s been a pleasure having you here.

Tom Hanks: My pleasure, thank you.
